With the setting-up of the Petzl foundation in 2006, the brand has included low-impact outdoor activity and environmental awareness for outdoor sports on its agenda. Since then, the foundation has been working on achieving this by means of ecological preservation projects, research in risk prevention, and general education in work at height and recreational activities at height.
